AIR-TEC’S CSR POLICY WAS DEVELOPED FROM THE COMPANY’S STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES WHICH ARE LINKED TO THE UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL’S (UNSDG’S).

INITIATIVES IMPLEMENTED

SOUTH AFRICA

The donation of cooking pots, gas and food items to a community aid project which focuses on feeding the less fortunate.

The donation of skills development refunds received to lower earning staff members children or grandchildren in the form of school fees, uniform and stationery.

A monetary donation to support a registered public benefit organization that provides education to children suffering from severe disabilities to enable these children to further develop their knowledge and skills.

The donation of non-perishable food items, collected by employees to a retirement village in need.

A monetary donation to support a children’s educational foundation in order to complete the construction of permanent ablutions.

UGANDA

The donation of medical supplies to a local medical center which supports the local medical needs of a community.

The donation of a bore hole to a community in need of clean running water.

LAOS

The donation of non-perishable foods, clothes, toiletries and household cleaning items to a disabled women centre. The centre aims to empower women to gain vocational and life skills through specific training and support.

MADAGASCAR

The donation of desks to a school in need in Madagascar.

CONGO

The donation of seeds and planting equipment to an environmental organization to create a permanent nursery.

The donation of soccer balls to less fortunate children to provide a form of entertainment in the children’s lives.
