ELOUISE...OUR 1ST QUALIFIED FEMALE ENGINEER

Elouise Dorfling joined Air-Tec in 2010 as an Apprentice and successfully completed her
engineering qualification in 2013. She obtained her Aircraft Maintenance License in November 2015 which allowed her to continuously gain experience and exposure on various types of aircraft and engines.

Elouise is the FIRST qualified and licensed female engineer in Air-Tec. We are very proud to have Elouise in our team as she is an example to all aspiring engineers in our industry.

Elouise enjoys working alongside her colleagues and strives to learn more about various aspects of the aircraft using every opportunity to progress in the exciting field of aeronautical engineering.

WANDILE NCUBE: FUELLED BY PASSION

In March 2016, Wandile embarked on his journey with Air-Tec, stepping in as a Base Manager, aspiring one day to fly. Starting with 300 hours to his name, he immersed himself in 18-month-long stints in South Sudan and Laos. These experiences not only enriched Wandile but also intensified his desire to serve as a First Officer at Air-Tec.

Come October 2017, his dreams took flight when he earned the role of a First Officer, navigating diverse terrains across Africa and Asia for Air-Tec. Four years of relentless effort culminated in October 2021 when Wandile commenced the Command Upgrade training. Today, with almost 3,000 flight hours under his belt, 2,500 of which are on the Let 410, Wandile proudly wears the epaulets of a LET 410 Captain.

Wandile's commitment and journey with Air-Tec serve as a beacon of inspiration for us all, underscoring his invaluable presence in the team.

Pretty Bhaugeerothee: Powered by Passion

Pretty commenced her journey with Air-Tec as a Base Manager on December 1, 2017, and subsequently progressed to the position of First Officer on September 13, 2019. In 2023, Pretty achieved a significant milestone by upgrading to the role of Captain within the L410 Fleet.

In Pretty's own words, "Air-Tec has provided me with a plethora of opportunities for career advancement. Over the years and across various countries I have had the privilege to visit, I've had the chance to immerse myself in different lifestyles and cultures.
